EELINK Open API Service — Empower Your GPS-Tracking Business with Seamless Integration

EELINK Open API Service

EELINK delivers professional global-ready Open API services for GPS tracking, fleet telematics and IoT asset-monitoring projects, helping partners build custom tracking workflows, white-label platforms and embedded applications without heavy development overhead.

Overview

Our Open API is a secure REST-based interface that bridges EELINK GPS tracker hardware ecosystem with your own back-end systems, web portals, mobile applications or third-party business software. It unlocks full programmatic access to device metadata, realtime location, historical tracks, sensor telemetry, alarm events and remote device command control. This solution is widely adopted by fleet operators, logistics enterprises, assetmanagement firms, OEM & ODM partners across worldwide markets.

Core API Capabilities

1. Real-time Device & Location Access

Query device basic information, online status, latest WGS84 location, mileage, SIM information and multisource positioning data (GPS, basestation cellular location, WiFi location). Rich telemetry metrics are available including battery level, external supply voltage, ACC ignition status, temperature and humidity sensor readings. Even when GNSS signal drops, the system can fetch raw cellular and WiFi scan data for network-based position resolution via dedicated location-resolution endpoints.

2. Historical Data Retrieval

Retrieve complete historical track routes, sensor logs and alarm records within configurable time ranges (maximum 31 days per query). Pagination controls support bulk data export for reporting, trip replay, driverbehaviour analysis and compliance audit. Alarm types cover SOS, power-off, lowbattery, over speed, geofence entry/exit, shock, vibration and sensor-triggered events.

3. Bidirectional Remote Device Command

Send custom ATstyle commands to remote GPS trackers over API, and poll command execution status. You can set location reporting, configure tracker parameters, control the relay and manage device functions programmatically. The command queue mechanism ensures reliable delivery even under unstable cellular network conditions.

4. Auxiliary Location Resolution

Standalone base-station and WiFi location-resolution endpoints are provided. Partners can submit cellular cell-tower or WiFi-MAC measurement data to obtain WGS84 longitude-latitude coordinates for scenarios where GPS signal is unavailable, such as underground parking lots, containers or indoor environments.

Security Mechanism

We build security into every API request. EELINK implements HMAC-SHA256 signature authentication. Each HTTP request carries four required headers: X-Appid, X-Timestamp, X-Nonce, and X-Signature. We keep secret keys on your server side and never transmit them over the network.Timestamp validation prevents replay attacks, and nonce rules avoid repeated request attacks. All responses follow unified JSON format with clear error codes and unique request_id for fast troubleshooting.

Ideal Business Scenarios

  • White-label / Private-label tracking platforms: Build your own branded fleet or asset-management web & mobile apps without developing device-cloud connection layer.
  • System integration: Merge GPS telematics data into your existing ERP, logistics dispatch system, CRM or enterprise management software.
  • OEM / ODM projects: For partners purchasing EELINK GPS trackers, use Open API to integrate hardware data into your end-customer solution for vehicle monitoring, cold-chain logistics, asset tracking, container & trailer management, rental-fleet supervision.
